The Clay Pit State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) is a 217 acre OHV area near Oroville California, north of Sacramento. The SVRA is an excellent area for new riders to master basic off-road riding skills before attempting more challenging terrain. The open pit has several table top jumps, short, steep hill climbs, dry washes, trenches, and a small motocross track, but is mostly flat. Clay Pit even features a rock crawling area consisting of large boulders. There are a couple of pavilions and a restroom. Camping is not allowed.
